Men's Soccer - Mon, Sep. 26, 2011

Rocklin, Calif. - The William Jessup University men's soccer team is looking to add talented student-athletes to its squad for the 2012-13 season. Warriors head men's soccer coach Carl Engel will be holding a Fall Recruiting Event for all interested student-athletes on October 28-29, 2011. Potential Prospects will have the opportunity to be evaluated by coaches, as well as experience the life of a student-athlete at WJU.

Student-athletes who wish to participate in the fall recruiting event must complete the "Recruit Me" questionnaire, which can be found on the university's sports web page (http://www.jessupathletics.com/) and indicate their desire to participate in the event by October 14th.

The recruiting day will require participants to arrive at William Jessup on Friday morning to attend Chapel with the student body at 9:00am and attend classes to give an accurate representation of student life. Prospective athletes will then progress to a training session with the team which will serve as a tryout for players to show the coaches their individual and team skills. After the session will be a team dinner in which players, coaches, and recruits will share a meal and get to know each other off the field.

The Warrior's soccer experience will end on Saturday as prospective student-athletes will attend the California Maritime Academy versus WJU soccer match at 3:00 pm on Jessup Field.

Prospective student-athletes who show the skill, attitude, and desire to become a part of William Jessup's exceptional community will be contacted by the coaches on a later date to discuss the option of playing for WJU and becoming a Warrior.
